Ramblings

Tonight we were just talking about our favorite smells and I had never gave it any thought before.
Here's the ones I could think of;

• Before and during rain.
• The MGM Grand Casino- I don't know why but it always smelled good! I'll probably stay there next time.
• The heat being turned on for the first time.
• The AC being turned on in my car.
• John- Even without smelly good stuff on, this kid smells good!
• Books- New or old.
• New things- New clothes, shoes, cars, babies. New things always smell good.
• Leather
• Mom's bed- I loved taking naps in her bed. Her pillows always smelled good.

I guess my favorite smells are associated with some of my favorite memories. My honeymoon, hugging my husband, sunday mornings laying in bed with mom talking.

Its small things, like smells, that can trigger happy memories.
