We went to my aunt and uncle's house. They were sweet enough to allow my grandparents, from my dad's side, over to join us. We brought the Gorton's famous mashed potatoes ( they have sour cream and cream cheese in them. DELISH!) and there were no left overs of them.
In my family we don't watch football after lunch, we watch a Christmas movie or a kids movie. This year the feature film was Brave. We ate pie and surprisingly no one fell asleep.
We then went outside and played with Lucy's (cousin) bow and arrow! I remember doing it at girl scout camp and it was a blast! I'm still awesome at it... Not really but it was a lot of fun! It was a successful and fun day! So thankful my grandma was feeling good and she and papa could come over and have lunch with us. Also thankful that my mom's side let them join us. It's so nice to have everyone still get along even after divorce.
I love my family. I told my mom that we're like The Weasleys. We're poor but we invite everyone to our place on the holidays so no one is alone.
