This is the first time I've actually known someone with breast cancer. So this month is near and dear to my heart.
Last Titty Tuesday!
I'm not going to be writing about titties because I don't know what else to write about.
I've been thinking about what I can do for my grandma. I've been doing some research and I decided to make her a chemo goodie bag. (I know the name doesn't quite fit but oh well).
- I got her a cute pink bag from Hobby Lobby for $3 and a big A to monogram it.
- I heard that chemo can cause mouth sores and that Biotene mouth wash can help make it feel better.
- Chemo can cause your skin to become dry and irritated so I bought really good lotion.
- Hand Sanitizer
- Playing Cards
- Notebook and Pen
- Kleenex
- Clipboard (in case she doesn't have a table)
- Word Searches
- Coloring book (in case she gets REALLY bored)
- Crayons
- Crossword Puzzles
- Chapstick
- I've been trying to find Queasy Pops and I've only been able to find them online. I'm going to health food store this week to see if they have them. I've heard its an all natural way to relieve nausea.
If you know someone with cancer and can't seem to figure out what to get them I hope this will help some.
REMEMBER FEEL YOUR BOOBIES!
